Conceptual graphics for Around the World in 80 days

Conceptual graphics by Raúl Ortega Palacios for an unrealized Amstrad game based on Around the World in 80 days.

In those moments besides preparing Freddy, I was looking for new ideas to publish with Dinamic. I always wanted to do “Around the world in 80 days”, but it was a very extensive video game for 8 bits. Later Jorge would publish “Journey to the Center of the Earth” in Topo.

I remember those graphics in “mode 1” being very liked, especially by Jorge and Javier. But it was very expensive to produce such a game. I didn’t understand it then, I was almost a kid. But now from the distance I understand it perfectly.
